James Beaupre's artwork depicts Huntsville and European scenes as well as buildings and still life paintings.
About the Artist
James Beaupre was born in Northern Illinois and spent the early part of his life there. He graduated for Illinois Benedictine College with a Bachelor's degree in physics. He then attended Iowa State University for graduate studies in physics and during this time, he began to paint. After receiving his Ph.D. at Iowa State University, he continued his education at Iowa State and Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. He
In 2004, Beaupre began painting again after a hiatus of nearly forty years. Since then, he has produced additional paintings in a variety of shapes and sizes. Dr. Beaupre also decorated one of the Huntsville Bicentennial Rockets (number 42) and it is on display at the EarlyWorks Museum Complex.
