Eleanor Murphy Public Library is temporarily closed for repairs due to damages caused by flooding. Please use either the Bailey Cove or Main libraries for services. We apologize for your inconvenience. A firm re-opening date has not been established. Thank you.

Board meeting time changed

The board meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 16 will take place at 2pm instead 4pm in the Board Room.

Food for Fines is back!

June 1 - 7: All HMCPL branches will offer Food for Fines! For each non-perishable food item you bring in, we'll forgive $1 in overdue fines from your library card. Read more »

Madison Public Library closed March 8-9

Madison Public Library will be closed Monday, March 8 and Tuesday, March 9.

Our Madison branch will be closed to the public on these two days to prepare for RFID. The bookdrop will be available for patron use during this time. Be sure to have your library card number and PIN handy.
